Volkswagen's Best Cars

review a website

There are many good reasons to buy a Volkswagen. The company produces solid cars that are fun to drive and often have better fit and finish than their rivals. The cars have a premium feel, and the interiors are more luxurious. For example, the interiors feel comfortable and the seats are supportive. In addition, the vehicles typically have great handling. VW's product line is growing and in 2022, it will add the Atlas SUV and Atlas Cross Sport crossovers. The ID is an all-new, long-range electric vehicle. This will mark VW's first long distance EV for America and offer a range of 250 miles.

Passat

The Volkswagen Passat family sedan is both practical and stylish. The car has a great mix of space and comfort, and provides excellent fuel economy. It was introduced in the United States by Volkswagen in 1990. After 2022, however, the manufacturer will no longer sell the Passat.

Touran

The Touran is among the most reliable Volkswagen models. Many other Volkswagen models also use the engine from this car. There have only been three recalls for the Touran's engines, but those were for minor problems. The performance and reliability of the Touran have been well-received by most owners. As an option, the ACC adaptive control system adjusts the ride to fit the road. However, this system is not suitable for all and most original buyers did not consider it. Another option is the Volkswagen Park Assist, which automatically steers the car in tight spaces without the driver even having to do anything.

Sharan

The Volkswagen Sharan is a large MPV. While it's not as sporty as some other large van-based models, it has a lot of agility and makes changing directions easy. The most recent upgrades include Euro6 compatibility, and new TDI diesel motors with slightly more horsepower. It is affordable, too.

Touareg

The Touareg is a huge SUV with good visibility and light steering. It can maneuver through tight spots without feeling awkward, and the optional four-wheel steering makes it worth the extra cost. It can also be fitted with a high-quality Dynaudio sound system.

Phaeton

The Phaeton luxury car is one of Volkswagen’s best. The company started serial production of this car in Dresden, Germany, in 2001. The Phaeton was made to compete with luxury vehicles such as the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and BMW 7 Series. It was built using the D3 platform, similar to the Audi A8/Bengal Continental. It had a 5.05-meter wheelbase.

Golf

Despite being a popular crossover, the Golf is still a great small car. It offers 53.7 cubic feet of cargo space, which puts it on par with the best compact crossovers. It also has a good gas mileage. It earns an EPA rating of 36 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined.
